## Özet

**Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Founding Rector of Üsküdar Üniversitesi, made important evaluations in the program “Akla Kapı with Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan” broadcast on Dost TV and Dost FM. Tarhan emphasized that instead of managing their children’s lives, parents should give their children the opportunity to be the captains of their own lives, and stated that the duty of parents is merely to be pilot captains.  **

## **“Global capital is looking at the world…”**

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan pointed out that most marriages today end in divorce, and this number is high both globally and in Turkey; “The world population, global capital, is looking at the world. The world population is increasing very rapidly. This led to the industrial revolution. One of the triggers of the industrial revolution was Malthus. Malthus said, ‘If the world population approaches 800 million, hunger will begin.’ Following this, industrial revolutions were initiated to work more and reduce the world population. Many projects and studies that triggered the industrial revolution were carried out to prevent the world population from increasing. He was the one who triggered the emergence of liberalism and communism. To dominate the world, we must be strong and defeat the weak. For example, Hitler was influenced by him. He lived in the manner of ‘We must dominate the world.’ This triggers the desire to rule the world. Global capital wants to control the world population.”

## ** “People have distrust towards the state…”**

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, touching upon the effects of family planning in Turkey, stated that people were distrustful of the state regarding this issue, and this distrust still continues. Tarhan said; “In the family planning of the 1960s, they were distributing spirals, distributing pills. They were going village by village, door to door. These are also the extensions of global capital in Turkey. They were doing this as a serious project: to reduce the birth rate, the population. They were unsuccessful in Eastern Anatolia.”  

## **“They say ‘It’s okay if there are no children…’”**

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan also made evaluations regarding out-of-wedlock birth rates worldwide; “The current family planning method worked at some point but not everywhere. They say, ‘In that case, we don’t need a family; an institution that is 50 percent unsuccessful should not be invested in, divorces have exceeded 50 percent, and the way to reduce the population is to decrease the number of children.’ They say, ‘It’s okay if there are no children.’ They say, ‘One child is enough,’ and this has been successful in Scandinavian countries, Europe, and Western Europe. It has also been successful in Ukraine. It’s somewhat successful in Russia, and these statistics show the following: The out-of-wedlock birth rate is 2.9 percent in Turkey, 56-59 percent in Scandinavian countries, 69 percent in Iceland, and 59 percent in France. There are baby boxes in America. Hospitals have placed baby boxes so that babies are not abandoned on the street and die. They place the baby in the box from outside, close it. There is a crib inside, they take it from there without the parents ever being seen. This is a serious problem…”

## **“The oppression of the West, which we see as civilization, has no limits!”**

Tarhan, touching upon the international effects of global capital and global propaganda; “Global propaganda takes away our right to say no to the people of Gaza. In other words, many who disapprove cannot speak out. Many companies internationally cannot speak. So, we currently don't have the right or freedom to recognize the massacre against a massacre. The oppression of the West, which we see as civilization, has no limits. They are doing the same thing to global capital right now. They are doing this mostly through social media. Because they are fighting with human creation. They are warring against the wisdom of God. They are headstrong against God; someone with a sense of accountability to God would not do this. They see themselves as God. That is, because they see themselves as gods, they are seeking immortality. They are seriously searching for an immortality vaccine and want to rule the world. Death is the only thing that stops them.”

## **“The child should be the captain of their own ship”**

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, stating that children should be the captains of their own lives instead of parents managing them; “Using old methods, we intimidate and manage our children with fear to bring them to the point we desire. In our current education system, our children become fascists in high school, anarchists in university, and capitalists in business life. When they retire, they become Muslims. Such a generation is growing up. When I say children become fascists, it means when children are pressured, they adopt an opposing role. Because they don’t feel like individuals, they turn completely against authority, but you have the right to disapprove. The duty of your parents is only to be a pilot captain. Not to take over the ship and manage it. The child should be the captain of their own ship. If you teach this to a child at a young age, any incorrect learning related to sexuality in the child immediately corrects itself.”
