On site visit conducted at the Faculty of Communication within the peer review process
Within the scope of the Peer Review process carried out by the Quality Directorate of Üsküdar University, an on site visit was conducted at the Faculty of Communication. In the exit statement shared at the end of the visit, evaluations regarding the faculty’s prominent strengths as well as areas open to development were included.
The Peer Review Team at Üsküdar Communication
The peer review team consisted of Assoc. Prof. Azime Karakoç Kumsar from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, who served as the team leader, Asst. Prof. Burcu Dündar Ertemiz, Head of the Health Information Systems Technician Program at the Vocational School of Health Services, and Sena Erdoğan from the Quality Unit as evaluators. The team carried out a visit to the Faculty of Communication at Üsküdar University.


The visit program began with a faculty presentation. In the first meeting, attended by the department heads, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Gül Esra Atalay delivered a detailed presentation about the Faculty of Communication and answered the questions of the evaluation team.
Following this, Prof. Süleyman İrvan, Chair of the Faculty of Communication Quality Commission, together with Dean Prof. Gül Esra Atalay and Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Ceren Saran, responded to the evaluation team’s questions regarding quality processes and provided information about the quality related activities carried out within the faculty.
The evaluation team then held meetings with faculty members, external stakeholders, and students.

As part of the site visits, computer laboratories and the television studio were toured.
Exit statement signed
After the meetings, the evaluation team prepared the exit statement. The exit statement was read and signed at a meeting attended by Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Gül Esra Atalay, and the visit was concluded.
