Peer evaluation process conducted at the Faculty of Dentistry

The peer evaluation process carried out within the Faculty of Dentistry at Üsküdar University was successfully completed. Within the scope of the evaluation, studies aimed at disseminating, internalizing, and sustainably developing a quality culture across the faculty were addressed.

The evaluation process was conducted at the NP Health Campus

The evaluation process was held at Üsküdar University NP Health Campus with the participation of Faculty of Dentistry Dean Prof. Dr. Ergün Yücel, Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Barış Karabulut, Faculty of Communication Public Relations and Publicity Department faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pınar Aslan, and Health Services Vocational School Disabled Care and Rehabilitation Program Head of Department Lecturer Gönül Kil Tetik.

Academic evaluation meetings were held

The peer evaluation process was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pınar Aslan, a faculty member of the Public Relations and Publicity Department of the Faculty of Communication.
Within the scope of the process, one to one meetings were conducted with academics and students determined by the faculty.

Practice areas and educational facilities were evaluated

As part of the program, classrooms and laboratories were visited, and the faculty’s physical infrastructure, educational environments, and practice areas were examined on site.
Thanks to the interviews conducted and field visits, the current status of the faculty was evaluated with a holistic perspective.

Outputs for continuous improvement were obtained

The peer evaluation process was completed as a productive study that supports the quality oriented approach of the Faculty of Dentistry and contributes to identifying its strengths as well as areas open to development.
