## Özet

**Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, who attended the 6th International Creation Congress in the Light of Sciences held in Van, drew attention to the fact that metaverse strengthens the possibility that the universe is a simulation. Tarhan stated, “We are actually living in a simulation.” He added, “Matter was seen as primary, and information as secondary. Now it is understood that matter is secondary, and information is primary. Quantum will offer us the most accurate conception of God.” Prof. Dr. Tarhan, stating that “In a capitalist system where lies, deception, trickery, and mercilessness are considered ethics, the need for truth based on reason and the wisdom of that truth will increase,” underlined the necessity of producing knowledge that will address this future need.**

## **Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan Attended the 6th International Creation Congress in the Light of Sciences**

Üsküdar University Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, attended the 6th International Creation Congress in the Light of Sciences hosted by Van Yüzüncü Yıl University with his presentation titled “Humankind in the Triangle of Mind, Brain, and Soul - Are We in a Post-Truth Era?”

## **Metaverse Will Enter Our Daily Lives**

 Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, stating that Metaverse is widely discussed today, said, “Metaverse includes Virtual Reality, science fiction, and digital games. If quantum computers are developed and applied now, Metaverse will enter our daily lives as virtual reality. For example, in meetings like these, we will be able to participate with our avatars using sensors on us, listen, speak, and ask questions. In other words, we will be able to exist virtually in 3D. There is even talk of a 4th dimension after quantum.”

## **The Lifespan of Knowledge Has Decreased to 2-3 Years**

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan reminded that the agricultural era was experienced in the years before Christ, prior to the start of the industrial age, and stated, “The agricultural period lasted for thousands of years and is now ending with Industry 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0. Scientific advancements and global population growth have occurred simultaneously. Previously, the lifespan of a piece of knowledge was 30 years, but now it has fallen to 2-3 years, and it seems set to decrease further. We call the non-mathematized state of science 'philosophy'. For example, there is computational psychiatry. We presented this topic at the American Psychiatric Association's 2007 congress. That presentation was watched all over the world. Computational psychiatry tries to observe how human psychology is affected by mathematical modeling.”

## **We Are Actually Living in a Simulation**

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, stating that the sciences of Aqidah and Kalam need to be reinterpreted, continued his words as follows:

“Metaverse strengthens the possibility that the universe is a simulation. We say we are currently living in the world, but we are actually living in a simulation. I also included this topic in my latest book, Wisdom Psychology. Intelligent design emerged as an alternative to evolution. For example, a bird can travel to one end of the world and then return to where it started. They have a mechanism in their brains that works according to the Earth's electromagnetic compass. This situation has begun to be understood today. It has been revealed that the universe is a digitally based universe. Previously, dialectical materialism told us that matter existed first, and information emerged dialectically from matter. Matter was seen as primary, and information as secondary. Now it is understood that matter is secondary, and information is primary.”

## **Quantum Will Offer Us the Most Accurate Conception of God!**

 Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, stating that 'If time currently comes from infinity and goes to infinity, we are living in a different energy band in this world where we are guests,' said, “After death, we will also go to a different energy band. For this, there must be intelligent design. In fact, Hawkins has a point about this: 'My mathematical mind does not accept that this vast universe remains empty while this world is so vibrant and lively,' he says. There are superior communities with advanced computer technologies. They govern. He has a thesis like 'They could come to us like Christopher Columbus went to America,' because he does not know Tawhid... Hawkins does not know Tawhid, and therefore, he is not aware that the intelligent design in his mind has a designer. If he knew Tawhid, he would know that external reality has a Creator. There are 4,300 religions in the world. All of them claim to be correct. There are various conceptions of God. Quantum will offer us the most accurate conception of God.”

## **No Information Is Lost in the Universe**

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, noting that time goes backwards, said, “The proof of quantum entanglement will give rise to new fields such as quantum computers, encryption, and communication networks. No information is lost in the universe. Two particles or two objects created from the same source are continuously in an entangled state with each other. For example, photons launched simultaneously are in continuous interaction with each other.”

## **Post-Materialist Science Manifesto Published**

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan stated that the Post-Materialist Science Manifesto was published in 2014 in the USA by academics from Arizona and Columbia Universities, and said, “Answers were sought for questions such as 'Is the universe a simulation? What lies beyond space-time?'” Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan noted that the hypothesis 'The journey to seek truth with scientific rigor leads us to Tawhid' should be discussed, and added, “Electromagnetism and quantum reality made one wonder if everything could be mathematical modeling. What does it mean that no living creature is held by the Preserved Tablet (Lawh al-Mahfuz) and its Forelock (Nasiah)?”

## **Materialism Does Not Explain the Universe**

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, stating that matter now also exists in the state of information, beyond solid, liquid, and gas, said, “In the universe, there is first information, and after information, there is mathematics, geometry, energy, physics, chemistry, and biology. But first and foremost, there is a universal database. This is referred to as Lawh al-Mahfuz in the Holy Quran. Allah creates man, and when the time comes, man goes to the world, passes or fails a test, and then returns to where he came from in the Lawh al-Mahfuz. Quantum also confirms this. Materialism does not explain the universe. Materialism is currently scientifically collapsed. Anyone who defends materialism is now considered outdated.”

## **The Need for Truth Based on Reason Will Increase**

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan said, “In a capitalist system where lies, deception, trickery, and mercilessness are considered ethics, the need for truth based on reason and the wisdom of that truth will increase. Therefore, we must produce knowledge that will address this future need. I wanted to discuss a synthesis of physics, biology, mathematics, psychiatry, and neuroscience with the teachings of the Holy Quran, or a new ontological debate, at the creation congress.”

## **Information and Emotions Are Produced in the Brain, the Heart Changes the Truth**

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, stating that there is an automated network in the human brain, said, “After a while, people act without questioning. Because they don't question, they mistake wrongs for rights. Their emotions now approve of false beliefs. It becomes a kind of 'sealing of the heart.' While thinking that the sealing of the heart was contrary to the secret of the test, I likened it to this: There is a television studio in Taksim. Information is produced from the control room there. That information goes to Çamlıca tower. From there, it is broadcast all over the world. Although the information is produced in Taksim, it is broadcast from Çamlıca. Similarly, our information, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors are produced in our brains. That information transforms into chemical letters in our brains and comes to our hearts. From the heart, it is distributed throughout the entire body. We feel it here. The heart changes the truth. From there, a connection is established with the universal flow. The brains of those whose hearts are sealed now work like a television without a connection in space. It only works with information recorded within itself, in the manner of the lower self (Nefs)... Therefore, opening your heart to your Lord and thinking of Allah as always being by your side also emotionally shows the truth.”
