At the event, it was emphasized that the profession of Electroneurophysiology technician is a field requiring clinical responsibility, and that correct application is critically important for patient health. ** ## İçerik  The program, held at the Emirnebi Conference Hall on Üsküdar Üniversitesi Çarşı Campus, was moderated by Lecturer Recep Yılmaz, Head of the SHMYO Electroneurophysiology Program. The guest of the event was Lecturer Emre Erdoğan, Deputy Director of Erciyes Üniversitesi Halil Bayraktar Vocational School of Health Services and Head of the Electroneurophysiology Program. At the event, where professional practices and career development in the field of Electroneurophysiology were discussed, students had the opportunity to learn about the practical dimension of the profession, areas of work, and post-graduation career opportunities.  ## **Attention Drawn to Clinical Responsibility of Technicians** In his speech, Lecturer Emre Erdoğan emphasized that electroneurophysiology technician work is not merely about operating devices, and pointed out that it is a healthcare professionalism that directly affects patient health. Erdoğan underscored the clinical responsibility of technicians with the statement, “We are not electricians; we are healthcare professionals.”  ## **“Incorrect electrode placement can lead to the patient receiving the wrong treatment”** Erdoğan, who touched upon the importance of accurate and careful work in applications such as EEG, EMG, and polysomnography, stated that incorrect applications can negatively affect the diagnosis and treatment process. Erdoğan, stating, “Incorrect electrode placement can lead to the patient receiving the wrong treatment,” expressed that practical knowledge and professional competence are among the fundamental elements of the electroneurophysiology field. In this context, the working areas of electroneurophysiology technicians in the public and private sectors, employment opportunities, and professional development processes were also discussed. It was emphasized that technicians who develop themselves in their field hold an important place within the healthcare system. The information shared also shed light on students' post-graduation career planning.  ## **A Question-and-Answer Session Was Held** Throughout the event, students had the opportunity to ask questions about the profession that they were curious about. Lecturer Emre Erdoğan answered students' questions and shared his experiences regarding career planning and the professional development process.  At the end of the program, various gifts were distributed through a raffle held for students.
