BOSIAD forms the NGO arm that can reach society. By turning this cooperation into benefit, we should produce qualified TÜBİTAK and EU projects in the field of social sciences. The greatest state in our history was the Ottoman Empire. Bursa was the first capital of the Ottomans. Therefore, it would be wonderful to start these studies from Bursa. This is a topic we have been pondering for many years. The situation of young people is now global, and its solution will emerge from our geography. For this, it is very important for us to benefit from the methodology of science. If we are to do something in this era, we must do it with scientific rigor. Otherwise, every endeavor passes as mere rhetoric. Every work we base on science creates a global impact,” he stated. ## **Prof. Dr. Tarhan:** **“The methodology of democracy is humanity's discovery”** Highlighting that the culture of democracy starts from the family, Tarhan said, “The culture of democracy starts from the family. If we can teach the culture of democracy to young people, problem-solving becomes much easier. If there is democracy, liberalism, criticizability, and participation in a family, problems in that family are resolved. The methodology of democracy is humanity's discovery. In this era, it is necessary to develop peaceful methods and for competition to be peaceful. We must set an example for young people in this regard, starting from our own geography,” he concluded. ![](https://cdn.uskudar.edu.tr/uploads/images/2020/11/09/800/img-3681_1.JPG) ## **Rasim Çağan: “Our aim is to benefit both our members and our country”** BOSIAD Chairman of the Board Rasim Çağan emphasized that every civil society organization should engage in social responsibility behavior, stating, “Every civil society organization should engage in social responsibility behavior, but it should also benefit its members. For example, in the part of our projects related to Vocational High Schools, we aim to reverse the talent shortage, which is a deficiency in Turkey. Our goal is to be an association that benefits both our members and our country.” ## **Elif Sezgin: “It will not be possible for X and Y Generations to move forward together without understanding Generation Z”** BOSIAD Press Consultant Elif Sezgin, providing information about BOSIAD's Z Plan, said, “Leadership is aging, and the skills gap continues to grow. Organizations that succeed in the 'Talent Economy' will be human-centered and future-oriented. As BOSIAD, we aim to help employers understand Generation Z, increase the participation of next-generation talent in businesses, retain and embrace them, train next-generation leaders and managers to understand and adopt their roles in multi-generational workplaces, and thereby assist our organizations in preparing for the future and increasing their revenues. Like esteemed Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, we also believe that ‘if we cannot produce a correct policy, Generation Z will be a lost generation.’ It will not be possible for the X and Y Generations, who manage the business world, to move forward together without understanding Generation Z, correctly determining their expectations, and moreover, without adequately explaining to this generation what has been done for the country's development until today.
