The wristband produced by the company is intended to prevent tremors in the treatment of "tremor," also known as tremor disease, and to improve the individual's quality of life. Prof. Dr. Sultan Tarlacı, the founding partner of the company, stated that they have also developed products for neurological diseases such as epilepsy, migraine, depression, ulcerative colitis, hypertension, diabetes, and tinnitus (ringing in the ears). With the support of BrainPark TTO, ALEA Neurotechnology and R&D Inc., established within Üsküdar University's BrainPark Incubation Center, aims to provide services particularly in the field of wearable neurotechnology. The special wristband developed by ALEA, founded under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Sultan Tarlacı, Head of the Department of Neuroscience, Faculty of Medicine at Üsküdar University, and his team Pusat Furkan Doğan and Metehan Kaya, offers treatment for the hand tremor disease known as "tremor." ## **Wristband Designed to Prevent Hand Tremors** ALEA is conducting studies aimed at treating hand tremor disease, known as "tremor." Tremor, a disease that makes eating and drinking difficult, disrupts daily activities, causes weakness in writing and using tools, and leads to difficulties such as fatigue and loss of balance, reduces the individual's quality of life. The damping wristband designed by ALEA aims to reduce tremor, prevent shaking without burdening the patient, and offer the patient a quality life. ## **First Domestic Product in Turkey for the Treatment of Tremor Disease** ALEA, which has no competitor in Turkey for the treatment of Tremor Disease in the field of wearable neurotechnology, stands out in the sector with both its price and the features it offers. Preparing to enter the global market, ALEA comes to the forefront with its practical and cost-effective solution proposal. ## **Prof. Dr. Sultan Tarlacı: "We Aim to Treat Tremor"** Prof. Dr. Sultan Tarlacı, Founding Partner of ALEA Neurotechnology and R&D Inc., stated that they aim to treat tremors caused by various reasons such as aging, stress, hyperthyroidism, stroke, trauma, and Parkinson's, and to improve the patient's quality of life. Prof. Dr. Sultan Tarlacı said, "We observed that tremors experienced in the limbs, occurring regardless of age and gender, reduce the quality of life, and people struggling with many problems due to these tremors are more depressed. With the wristband we developed, we aim to improve the quality of life by reducing tremors." ## **ALEA to Treat Many Diseases with Wearable Products** Stating that they plan to offer treatment opportunities for many diseases with wearable neurological products, Prof. Dr. Tarlacı said, "For now, we have started with just a wristband, but we will continue with wearable technologies that will alleviate tremors in other limbs. In addition, we will soon introduce products we have developed for neurological diseases such as epilepsy, migraine, depression, ulcerative colitis, atrial fibrillation, hypertension, diabetes, and tinnitus (ringing in the ears).
