Balatekin believes the book’s success will also contribute to the reputation of Üsküdar University. ## **Six Published Articles in National and International Journals** Graduating as the top student of her department and faculty and ranking third overall at Üsküdar University, Balatekin pursued studies at Western Kentucky University and Heinrich-Heine-Universität during her undergraduate years. She later received a research scholarship from University College London. As a result of her undergraduate research, six of her articles have been published in national and international journals. ## **Synthesizing Western Psychology with the Human Model in the Qur’an** With a deep interest in psychoanalysis, Balatekin embarked on an analytical journey. She studied "Nafs Science," a school of thought founded by Mustafa Merter, which synthesizes Western psychology with the human model derived from the Qur’an. Together with fellow Üsküdar University graduates, Balatekin has opened a clinical practice and started accepting clients.
