Emirhan Belli, a student in the Medical and Aromatic Plants Program at Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS), has achieved a significant international success. Belli was selected as a “Climate X Youth Pioneer” within the scope of the Climate X Leadership Training Program, conducted by the Global Alliance of Universities on Climate (GAUC), a global alliance formed by leading universities around the world.

Üsküdar University continues to support its students in taking active roles in academic and social responsibility projects carried out on a global scale and in educating young leaders for a sustainable future.

Selected as a “Climate X Youth Pioneer”

As part of the internationally conducted training program, Emirhan Belli was chosen as a Climate X Youth Pioneer.

By applying the knowledge and experience he gained to raise climate awareness and develop sustainable solutions, Belli successfully represented Üsküdar University on an international platform through the initiatives he carried out during this process.

Comprehensive training provided in the 12-week program

The program, which lasted 12 weeks and included the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and UNESCO among its project partners, offered comprehensive training on climate change, sustainability, global climate governance, and youth leadership.

Turning knowledge into actionable climate solutions

Throughout the program, participants had the opportunity to strengthen their climate action development skills through practice-oriented activities in addition to theoretical training, enabling them to transform knowledge into practical and actionable climate initiatives.
