An event titled "Clinical Engineering and Biomedical Unit Operation Models" was organized in cooperation with Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS) and Biomedical Technicians Association (BİYOTED). The event was attended by many experts in their fields.

VSHS Biomedical Device Technology Program Head Instructor Eyser Kılıç Boz and Instructor Mehmet Kavacık were the moderators of the event, which took place at Üsküdar University Çarşı Campus Emirnebi 1 Conference Hall,

The event was attended by Istanbul Governorship Provincial Health Directorate, Istanbul Public Hospitals Services Vice Presidency, Bakırköy Clinical Engineering Services Unit Biomedical Technician Zafer Yaldız, Sağlam Medical Systems Ltd. Sti. General Manager Levent Can, Üsküdar University NPİSTANBUL Hospital Biomedical Manager Ahmet Alkaya, Sancaktepe Şehit Prof. İlhan Varank Training and Research Hospital Biomedical Technician Muhammet Kollik, Enes Can Bektaş and Sancaktepe Şehit Prof. İlhan Varank Training and Research Hospital Clinical Engineering Unit Supervisor Furkan Uslu.

 

Informative presentations were made within the scope of the event

Zafer Yaldız, Vice President of Istanbul Governorship, Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate and Istanbul Public Hospitals Services, explained the functioning models of the clinical engineering and biomedical units of hospitals in Türkiye under the title of "BIOTED Corporate Presentation".

Levent Can, General Manager of Sağlam Medical Systems, made a presentation on "Business and Operation Models of Biomedical Units in Medical Companies".

Biomedical Technician Muhammet Kotlik from Sancaktepe Şehit Prof. İlhan Varank Training and Research Hospital made a presentation on "Biomedical Storage Processes in Hospitals".

Biomedical Technician Enes Can Bektaş from Sancaktepe Şehit Prof. İlhan Varank Training and Research Hospital gave information on "Biomedical Technician Breakdown Process Management and Reporting". Clinical Engineering Unit Supervisor Furkan Ulus also discussed "Planned Maintenance and Calibration Follow-ups" and "Maintenance Agreement Contract Types".

Ahmet Alkaya, Biomedical Manager and TÜRKAK/GAC Auditor from Üsküdar University NPİSTANBUL Hospital, conveyed his information to the participants about "Accreditation and Authorization Processes within the Scope of Testing, Control and Calibration of Medical Devices in Türkiye".

The event ended with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to the participants and a group photo.
