A technical visit titled “Full Balance” was organized by the Orthopedic Prosthetics and Orthotics Program of Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS). The visit aimed to enhance students’ professional knowledge and skills, providing them with the opportunity to observe foot biomechanics and custom insole production processes on site. During the visit, students reinforced their theoretical knowledge through hands-on field experience and became familiar with up-to-date analysis methods used in the sector.

The visit took place at the Fullbalance Custom Insole and Gait Analysis Center, where students received comprehensive information about professional practices in the field.

Custom insole production processes examined on site

At the beginning of the visit, company representatives delivered a presentation on foot analysis systems, the technologies used, and measurement principles. Advanced sensor-based gait analysis platforms, foot scanning devices, and innovative materials used in custom insole production were introduced to students in detail.

Within this framework, students had the opportunity to closely observe foot biomechanics, pressure analysis, gait assessment, and the entire custom insole production process.

Comprehensive insight into sectoral practices

Throughout the technical visit, emphasis was placed on the importance of proper insole use in maintaining foot health, correct shoe selection, analysis of foot deformities, and the role of modern technologies in solving biomechanical problems.

Students actively engaged in the process by directing their questions to company experts and gaining in-depth knowledge about evaluation and production stages.

Theoretical education reinforced through practical field experience

In this context, the technical visit made a significant contribution to strengthening students’ theoretical education through practical field experience, enabling them to observe current analysis methods used in the sector on site and increasing their professional awareness.

The event concluded with a group photo session.
