Educational support from Üsküdar to Malatya…
Students of Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS) Child Development Program and Child Protection and Care Services Program designed preschool educational materials to support the education of children in the earthquake-affected region. The materials, exhibited at the Çarşı Campus, were delivered to Elifnur Şeyma Dalhançer Kindergarten in Yeşilyurt, Malatya, with the support of the Turkish Red Crescent

Students of the Child Development Program and the Child Protection and Care Services Program at Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS) prepared various materials to be used in preschool education. The materials were designed to contribute to the development of children living in disaster-affected regions.

They designed educational materials
Under the leadership of Lecturer Müge Çolakoğlu Özer, Head of the Child Development Program at VSHS, and Asst. Prof. Ümit Ertem, Head of the Child Protection and Care Services Program at VSHS, students created and prepared their own educational material designs.
The materials were exhibited in the lobby area of Üsküdar University Çarşı Campus, where they attracted the attention of visitors. The works highlighted the importance of creativity and solidarity in education.

Delivered to Malatya with the support of the Turkish Red Crescent
Following the exhibition, the materials were sent to Elifnur Şeyma Dalhançer Kindergarten, which was established in Yeşilyurt, Malatya after the earthquake, with the transportation support of the Kadıköy Branch of the Turkish Red Crescent. The materials will be used to meet the needs of preschool students in the disaster region and to support their educational processes.
