Elderly Care students met with nursing home residents at the summer festival
Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS) Elderly Care Program 2nd-year students visited the Prof. F. Kerim – Nilüfer Gökay Nursing Home as part of the “Summer Festival at the Nursing Home” event.

The event was attended by Asst. Prof. Melek Çaylak, Head of the VSHS Social Services Program, Instructor Birgül Erbaş, Head of the Hair Care and Beauty Services Program, and numerous students.


During the visit, students engaged in pleasant conversations with the nursing home residents and offered refreshments. The music team added to the cheerful atmosphere by performing songs, with students and elderly residents singing and dancing together.


At the end of the event, saplings were planted in honor of the nursing home residents, and personalized sapling certificates were presented to them. The day concluded with a group photo to commemorate the visit.
