Prof. İsmail Barış: "We do not have the elderly, we have senior citizens"

Pointing out that senior citizens have handed over the trust they have received to the current generations, Advisor to the Rector Prof. İsmail Barış said that "I call you senior citizens, not elderly. Wherever I see a road, a bridge, wherever I see a Mihrimah Sultan, I always think of people with gray hair and slumped shoulders because they did it and we are living. White-haired people lived. They raised our road, our green and our sea in difficulties. They handed over the trust they received to us. That's why we do not have seniors, we have senior citizens from whom we are inspired."
