How should career planning be in Dental Prosthesis Technician?

Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS) Dental Prosthesis Technology Program held the "Career Planning in Dental Prosthesis Technician" event. UNEB Dental Responsible Manager Emrah Tokkuş participated in the event. Within the scope of the event, students were informed about internships and career choices.

The moderator of the event held at Üsküdar University Çarşı Campus was Üsküdar University Dental Prosthesis Technology Program Head Asst. Prof. Damla Yılmazoğlu.

At the event, detailed information was given to dental prosthesis technology students about their summer internship processes.

Emrah Tokkuş shared his experiences in the sector

UNEB Dental Responsible Manager Emrah Tokkuş shared his experiences in the sector, the challenges of the dental technician profession and career opportunities with the students. Tokkuş gave advice on the requirements of being a good technician and the difficulties to be encountered after graduation. Tokkuş said that "It is a challenging path, but please persevere. Stay calm, work hard, and attend as many courses as you can. The industry is truly in need of qualified professionals. With patience and dedication, you can succeed in this field. I describe that 1–2 year period like this: A car skids when it is stuck in snow or on a difficult road. It spins and struggles, but once it starts moving, the road becomes smooth. Let's get through that skidding phase. Once you overcome that difficult 1–2 year process, I can say a fantastic period in your career awaits you.”

The event ended after the presentation of a certificate of appreciation and a group photo.
