KOSGEB Entrepreneurial Meetings event was held

The “KOSGEB Entrepreneurial Meetings” event was organized under the leadership of Üsküdar University and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB), in collaboration with the Young Minds Academy, BrainPark Technology Transfer Office, and METATIP Inc. The event emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship and highlighted the need for guiding young people’s potential in the right direction.

Held at the Senate Hall of Üsküdar University’s Main Campus, the event welcomed Dr. Nebiye Yaşar, Coordinator of the Young Minds Academy; Assoc. Prof. Müge Ensari Özay, Director of the R&D and Innovation Policies Application and Research Center (ARGEYEP); Ertuğrul Çetinkaya, Director of KOSGEB Anatolian Side IMES Office; and Emre Kaan Şanverdi, Co-Founder of METATIP.

Dr. Nebiye Yaşar: “Young people’s potential should be guided correctly”

The event was moderated by Dr. Nebiye Yaşar, Coordinator of the Young Minds Academy. Emphasizing the spirit of entrepreneurship, Yaşar said: “Young people’s potential should be guided correctly. When proper guidance meets a supportive ecosystem, not only ideas but also transformation is created.”

Assoc. Prof. Müge Ensari Özay: “Entrepreneurship must be matched with the right support”

Speaking at the program, Üsküdar University’s ARGEYEP Director Assoc. Prof. Müge Ensari Özay stated: “Entrepreneurship must be matched with the right support. When this support is provided, it transforms not only into economic value but also into a force with social impact.”

Ertuğrul Çetinkaya: “An entrepreneur’s greatest capital is knowledge and courage”

Ertuğrul Çetinkaya, Director of KOSGEB Anatolian Side IMES Office, spoke about the support KOSGEB provides to entrepreneurs. He said: “An entrepreneur’s greatest capital is knowledge and courage. We are proud to stand by young people on this journey. At KOSGEB, we offer much more than financial support—we provide mentoring, guidance, and vision.”

Technology-based healthcare projects attracted attention

Supported through KOSGEB’s Business Development Support Program, METATIP Inc. stood out with its technology-based healthcare projects. Company representatives shared their entrepreneurial journey and discussed the tangible impacts of support mechanisms.

Sapling certificate presented

As part of the event, a sapling certificate was presented by Assoc. Prof. Müge Ensari Özay, Director of ARGEYEP, to KOSGEB IMES Director Ertuğrul Çetinkaya.

The event concluded with a group photo session.
