A peer review process was carried out within Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS). Within the scope of the process, efforts aimed at disseminating, adopting, and continuously improving the quality culture were addressed.

Evaluation process focused on quality culture

The evaluation process, held at Üsküdar University Çarşı Campus, was attended by Rector Advisor Prof. Muhsin Konuk, VSHS Director Asst. Prof. Ömer Faruk Karasakal, as well as academics, representatives of administrative departments, external stakeholders, graduates, and students.

General briefing presentation delivered on the process

The peer review process was chaired by Rector Advisor Prof. Muhsin Konuk, while a general briefing presentation was delivered by VSHS Director Asst. Prof. Ömer Faruk Karasakal.

During the presentation, comprehensive information was shared regarding the school’s education and training activities, quality assurance system, and ongoing practices.

Physical infrastructure and laboratories examined on site

Following the presentation, VSHS’s physical infrastructure facilities as well as its education and application laboratories were visited and examined on site.

Within the multi stakeholder participation process, internal self-evaluations were conducted, and both strengths and areas in need of improvement were addressed with a holistic perspective.

The peer review process concluded with the evaluation team reading the exit statement and a group photo session.
