The “Art and Creativity: Practical Studies Exhibition” was organized by the Child Development Program of Üsküdar University’s Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS). The exhibition was presented to visitors in the lobby area of the Çarşı Campus.

The exhibition, coordinated by Instructor Deniz Kudret Kalaycı of the Child Development Program at Üsküdar University’s Vocational School of Health Services, attracted considerable interest.

The opening of the exhibition was attended by Asst. Prof. Ömer Faruk Karasakal, Director of the Vocational School of Health Services; Instructor Esad Demirtaş, Deputy Director; Instructor Müge Çolakoğlu Özer, Head of the Child Development Program; Instructor Birgül Erbaş, Head of the Hair Care and Beauty Services Program; as well as academic staff and students.

Creative materials at the core of child development showcased
The exhibition featured educational toys and artistic materials that form the foundation of child development, presented through creative designs. The works showcased materials that support children’s developmental processes, the outcomes of various design techniques, and the concrete reflections of theoretical knowledge.

Where theory and creativity intersect
The exhibition aimed to demonstrate that the field of child development is not limited to a purely theoretical learning process. Through imagination, colors, and design details, students showed how academic knowledge can be transformed into an aesthetic expression. In this respect, the exhibition highlighted the point at which education and art intersect.
