Üsküdar University provides artificial intelligence training for Ümraniye District Governorate staff
In collaboration with Üsküdar University and the Ümraniye District Governorate, an “Artificial Intelligence Tools Training Program” was held for district governorate staff. The training addressed the effective use of artificial intelligence technologies in public services and their contribution to digital transformation processes.


As part of its efforts to support digital transformation in public institutions and enhance staff members’ technological competencies, Üsküdar University organized the program for personnel of the Ümraniye District Governorate. The training, held at the Ümraniye District Governorate Conference Hall, aimed to promote a faster, more efficient, and citizen-oriented public service approach.

The impact of digital transformation on public services discussed
The training program, attended by Yüksel Çelik, District Governor of Ümraniye, provided a comprehensive overview of the areas in which artificial intelligence technologies are used in public institutions, their integration into operational processes, and the overall impact of digital transformation on public services.
AI-supported applications introduced
The training sessions were delivered by Mehmet Kaan İldiz, Assistant Professor in the Department of Software Engineering (English) at Üsküdar University’s Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, and Murat Gülşen, Digital Transformation Coordinator.
Within the scope of the program, participants were introduced to practical examples demonstrating how AI-based applications can be integrated into daily work processes. Sample use cases focusing on improving time and resource efficiency in public services were also shared.

At the end of the program, participants’ questions were addressed, and discussions were held on the contributions of artificial intelligence technologies to public administration and the importance of digitalization processes.
The training is expected to contribute to the wider adoption of innovative practices in public services and to support ongoing digital transformation initiatives within the Ümraniye District Governorate.
