Visit of Prof. Chulpan Misbakhova to Üsküdar University

Prof. Chulpan Adipovna Misbakhova from Kazan Federal University and the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences visited Üsküdar University. During the visit, Prof. Misbakhova met with President of Üsküdar University and Psychiatrist Prof. Nevzat Tarhan and exchanged views on possible academic collaborations and joint scientific studies between the two institutions.

During her visit, Prof. Misbakhova was accompanied by Nail Kamaletdinov, General Director of EuroAgro-Алга, an economist and expert in Islamic economics and finance.

Prof. Misbakhova also examined the Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP), which operates within Üsküdar University. Prof. İlham Miraç provided detailed information about the platform’s work and delivered a comprehensive presentation on the ongoing research and projects. Prof. Misbakhova highlighted the projects of RİNAP that could attract international attention and emphasized their potential for partnership.

As part of her visit, Prof. Misbakhova also visited the Center for Postcolonial Studies (PAMER). Asst. Prof. Fehmi Ağca, Director of PAMER and faculty member of the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, provided information about the center’s research and projects.

During the meetings, a series of topics were discussed to strengthen the cooperation between Üsküdar University and Kazan Federal University. These included: preparing a cooperation protocol between the universities, organizing joint scientific conferences and workshops, lanning internship programs for faculty members and students, conducting joint scientific research, hosting academics as visiting lecturers, implementing projects in Tatarstan in the field of Islamic (participatory) economics and finance.

Prof. Misbakhova stated that the visit was fruitful in terms of strengthening relations between the two universities, while Üsküdar University officials expressed their satisfaction with the prospect of implementing concrete projects in the near future.
